We have a combined 20-plus years of experience cutting, stretching film.   Machine templates have come a long way and often we find this is the best way to start out a job.   Other times, we find that certain cars need a to be hand cut or require a combination of hand and machine cuts.   This knowledge is only gained by experience.  Unlike commercial jobs, we tuck edges as much as possible to hide unsightly edges.  Better than anyone else, we understand the value of your car to you, and to your bank account.    Rest assured

PPF is an investment.   It varies wildly depending on the vehicle, and how much you want protected, e.g. just the front vs the whole car.   The best thing is to come visit us at the shop or call to get the most accurate quote, but can range anywhere between  $2000 and $9000.

Have you ever tried to put a really large sticker on a ball?  It’s just like that, but harder.  The vinyl comes in large sheets with an adhesive on the back – much like contact paper that would drive you mad.  We know how to stretch and pull and carve the film around every curve and panel and crease.  It’s really a craft. We do some disassembly on some cars but nothing major.  Mostly bumpers and door handles.

You can wash your PPF just like paint, but we strongly recommend hand washing or brushless car washes.  The film is self-healing, but repeated surface abrasion from bristles can cause the film to lose it’s high gloss finish.  You might consider ceramic coating it to reduce how often it needs to be washed.

You can absolutely ceramic coat your wrap!  In fact, it’s a really smart thing to do.  It will help maintain the life of your wrap and keep it looking fresh.   And yes, this applies to your satin and matte finishes as well.  We have specially formulated coatings to preserve matte and satin films.

Our PPF can last 7-10 years.  A well maintained vehicle  (garaged, and washed or ceramic coated regularly) will last 12 or more years.

Depends.  Some cars, not at all, others, minor.  When we do, it’s confined to door handles, mirrors, badges and the occasional bumper.  Not much more needs to come off.

Seven Wraps warranties our installation.  We will take care of any bubbles or lifting edges, for up to six months after installation.  The film itself is warrantied through the manufacturer for 7-10 years against discoloration.   We use different brands depending on the application and can provide you with that information upon request.
